Attendees are encouraged to bring potluck food to share. Additionally, a labyrinth will be set-up for use. All are welcome. The International Day of Peace was created by the United Nations General Assembly in 2001. In 2007, Hawaii became the first state in the nation to officially commemorate Peace Day in harmony with the UN resolution. The Interfaith Roundtable of Kaua’i has sponsored an annual celebration of peace every year since.
