Amidst lush landscaping and pineapple fields, the exclusive tour includes an off-the-menu, locally sourced meal that’s served in the Private Dining Room of the historic Wilcox Mansion. The unique tour begins with a ride in an open-air plantation-style train through the 105-acre orchard, which has more than 50 varieties of exotic fruit trees. Guests disembark and feed wild boar, goats and chickens and stroll through the orchard with Kai, Kilohana’s expert in local agriculture. After picking and eating exotic fruit, guests sit and relax as Kai demonstrates how to select and prepare tropical fruit, then taste the best of Kilohana in a super-fresh fruit salad. After a short tour of the historic Manor House, guests learn how to make Gaylord’s signature mai tai with fresh-pressed sugarcane and lime juice at Mahiko Lounge. Meet Gaylord’s executive chef Todd Barrett while he explains the day’s preparations and enjoy a three-course, gourmet lunch in the Private Dining Room. Participants explore the universal principles of love, vibration and duality, and are provided with examples of how each of these principles manifests in reality. With this foundation, the elements of harmonizing are introduced: Ho’oponopono, consciousness, holographic reality, self-responsibility, heart intelligence and sacred geometry. The elements are then woven together to form the practice Alaya has dubbed “The Art of Harmonizing”. This simple, authentic practice resolves the split in consciousness, opening the frequency for the embodiment of love. Further concepts from Alaya’s forthcoming book, Harmonize Duality and Live in Unified Consciousness, will also be introduced. The building that now houses the theatre was once home to Sun Ke Heong ‘House of Fragrance’. The building, which is on the National Register of Historic Places was erected in 1933 and has survived two hurricanes. After ‘Iniki however, the building was badly damaged and leaning over. It was Mark Jeffer’s vision to save the building and at the same time create a permanent home for Storybook Theatre, which began as a touring performing arts company for children in Honolulu in 1979.
