7th annual Heiva I Kauai Iaorana Tahiti, International Tahitian Dance Competition August 2-3, 2008 at Kapaa Beach Park, Kauai. Solo and group performances, traditional and contemporary Tahitian drumming competition. Multi-cultural exhibitions with Master Drummer, Heimanu Tehahe and Dance Troup from Tahiti. Tahitian dance and drumming workshops, Polynesian arts & crafts and island foods for sale, silent auction, and more. Gates open 10am, daily admission $5, children 6 and under free.
